ABOUT
US
Located just 3 miles south east of Glasgow City Centre and benefitting from excellent public transport links, we are one of the most active and progressive Tennis Clubs in Scotland.
We have 7 all-weather courts which are floodlit for year-round play.
These are split across two nearby venues (Viewpark & Burnside)
Viewpark Drive has been our home for nearly 100 years.
In 2017, we built three new courts on the derelict land which was formerly Burnside Tennis Club.
Both venues are fully accessible. Directions to Viewpark Courts

BIG FACILITIES
BIG WELCOME
We are big enough to offer great facilities and lots of tennis and social opportunities for everyone.
Just as we are also small enough to be run by members for members and retain the friendly, welcoming environment we pride ourselves on.
ALL AGES & ABILITIES
We offer loads of opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the wonderful game of tennis any day of the week
Play informally with friends and family members
Play socially in our various weekly social sessions and numerous special events throughout the year
Play competitively as a member of one of our many teams that play at all levels in the West of Scotland Leagues, Regional and National Competitions, as well as our annual Club Championships
Or as part of our Coaching Programme led by Tennis Scotland’s Coach of the Year 2016, Jonny Willcox, giving kids and grown-ups the opportunity to fulfil their tennis ambitions whatever they may be.
FACILITIES
We are one of (if not the only) Tennis Clubs in Scotland to have two venues.
We have four Artificial Grass courts located off Viewpark Drive which has been our home for nearly 100 years.
We also have three brand new Artificial Clay courts located off Burnside Road, which formerly operated as Burnside Tennis Club until they became derelict.
Through our “Return To Splendour” Project, we raised the £250,000 needed to save and expand into these courts, with this wonderful new facility officially opened by Judy Murray in November 2017.

WHEELCHAIR TENNIS
With the help of GB Paralympian, Kevin Simpson, we launched a new Wheelchair Tennis Class at our Open Weekend in March 2016 and this is proving very successful.
This is allowing players from all walks of life to enjoy tennis regardless of disability. With support from the Tennis Foundation we are able to subsidise new specially adapted wheelchairs for players, which has been a massive help.
