Beat the Street Cambuslang and Rutherglen

We’re delighted to see “Beat The Street” coming back to Rutherglen again this year – bigger and better than before – taking in the streets of Cambuslang too!
For those who didn’t get involved last time, Beat the Street is a fun, free initiative that will see Cambuslang and Rutherglen transformed into a giant game! Earn as many points as possible for you and your team by walking, running, scooting, cycling or rolling between Beat Boxes across Cambuslang and Rutherglen from 00:01 on Wednesday 15th (that’s tomorrow) to 19:00 on Wednesday 27th October.
Children aged 11 and under play with a Beat the Street fob, whilst anyone aged 12 and above plays with a Beat the Street card. You can collect your fob/card at TESCO Burnside and we hope our coaching team will have some to hand-out soon.
For all the info and to sign-up to create your online account, just click the link below.
Once you’ve collected your card or fob, connect it to your account and you’re ready to beat the street! Each player will need their own account.
We’re thrilled to be entering our own team this year, so when you sign-up, please affiliate yourself to “Rutherglen Lawn Tennis Cub” so that your individual points get allocated to the club and lets see if we can all work together to get ourselves on the leaderboard and win a prize!
We’re also delighted to be supporting the launch event on Saturday in Overtoun Park (11.30am to 1.30pm) with some mini-tennis. We hope to see you there!
Good luck and enjoy! Ding, ding!
